ABOUT THE ADLIB COMPANY
Many years ago, Founder Lindsay Audette began doing Improv for Lawyers workshops for the non-profit she worked for. The goal was simple: to help the attendees find their voice, build confidence, practice thinking on their feet, and express themselves. The workshops were a hit and it was clear that the skills Lindsay had learned from performing all her life could be used for more than just making people laugh from up on stage. Those skills could change people’s lives, just like they had changed hers. She has spent the last several years finding places to share her knowledge and spaces to provide creative healing. She has built a team of people who share her passions and together they have been providing improvisation and other creative workshops for people in mental health treatment, corporate settings, and more. Over the years, our goal hasn’t changed: we are here to help everyone find confidence, express themselves, and grow.

Lindsay has been performing since she could talk, and her love for improv truly blossomed after moving from the Midwest to Los Angeles. Originally from Chicago, she earned her degree in Theater Performance from Columbia College Chicago and went on to complete the Conservatory Program at Second City Hollywood. Over the years, she’s performed with numerous improv and sketch groups across L.A., realizing along the way that laughter and creativity were invaluable tools for bettering oneself. She launched The AdLib Company to help creatives like herself use their gifts to help others. She is grateful to lead such a remarkable team as they do such transformative work each day.
Lindsay Audette
Founder
Jack has been immersed in the theatrical, film and improvisational arts for the better part of two decades. Originally from the East San Francisco Bay Area, Jack began performing in community theater in his preteen years, then went on to study acting and theater at UC Santa Barbara. He graduated from the improv comedy program at Upright Citizen’s Brigade in Los Angeles, has performed improv and stand up throughout Los Angeles for over 7 years, as well as acted in film and television. Finding a home for his passions of comedy, performance and community building has led Jack to being part of the AdLib Leadership team, using his years of experience to help expand the company. He is honored to work with this remarkable team and to be a part of their journey helping others live life to the fullest.
Jack Frank
Business Development Manager
Kara is an actor/musician whose career has taken her around the globe. Originally from Omaha, NE, Kara holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. She has been seen on stages from the Las Vegas Strip to Carnegie Hall, and across Southern California since moving here in 2017. Thrilled to have found work that combines her love of the arts, quick wit, silliness and empathy, Kara has been working in addiction and mental health treatment facilities since 2022. She is very proud and honored to be part of the incredible team at The AdLib Company, and is excited to bring our unique dose of levity and light to those who need it.
